As part of our community ecosystem approach to the creative arts, Asheville Creative Arts provides targeted Technical Assistance such as fiscal sponsorship and basic financial systems for sibling social enterprises and organizations.
These services create opportunities for meaningful employment, and offer access to resources that support the creative practice of artists. The tools and infrastructure provided by ACA help creative, grassroots leaders to do their best work in service of Asheville’s audiences and the community where we live.
Fiscal Sponsorship
Asheville Creative Arts offers fiscal sponsorship to like-missioned arts and community organizations who do not have 501c3 status. ACA provides support with receiving funds and reporting, as well as light bookkeeping for one-time grants and donations.
Financial Systems
Dovetailing with our fiscal sponsorship program, we offer basic financial systems for values-aligned, community-focused organizations on a retainer or an hourly basis, depending on the complexity of the project.
These systems can include:
- Budget construction, books setup, books cleanup and transaction automations, payroll infrastructure, benefits setup, compliance and insurance setup;
- Ongoing bookkeeping, budgeting, and finance support.
