Since 2016, Cine Casual has worked to uplift the stories that matter to our community, yet still lack exposure. Through screenings, articles, film reviews, festival coverage, and interviews, Cine Casual promotes Latin American films and highlights the incredible talent of the region.

In 2020, we established the Cine Casual Film Series to connect Charlotte’s growing Latino populations and the diverse community at large with intentional programming that encourages cross-cultural understanding by educating, entertaining, and challenging the community through film and artistic expressions.
